Kangal videos are popular searches on the internet and for good reason. These dogs are growing in popularity outside of their native Turkey and people around the world are curious as to what these massive canines look like. Here are a few select Kangal Videos from around the net.

Not all Kangal dogs are mean or vicious fighters. Like most animals they are what they are trained to be. The Kangal Canine is undoubtedly considered the nation’s breed of dog in Turkey.Typically the Kangal weighs between 100-165 lbs fully grown, was originally used as a livestock guardian dog and is sometimes known as the largest dog on earth. The breed is associated with the earlier mastiff variety having a strong, light bronze coat, along with a dark-colored mask.

This breed of dog is frequently known as a sheep dog, yet variation should be made in relation to its it’s purpose not quite as the herding dog, but like a protector that will live together with the sheep to help ward off wolves or bears. The Sivas Kangal Dog’s protective nature together with, devotion as well as gentleness with children together with family pets seems to have resulted in it’s increasing appeal as being a protector for the entire family too. Some Kangal videos portray the dogs as mean and nasty dogs, but as I stated above, some dogs are trained that way and it may not necessarily be their nature.
